Music at Skelton Show 2022

todayJune 6, 2022

Background

We’ve put together an exciting line-up of fabulous local talent to perform in our new Entertainment and Food Village throughout the afternoon and into the early evening at Skelton Show 2022.

In addition to our usual favourites, the Penrith Town Band (on throughout the afternoon from 12.30pm) we have some great live music acts lined up from Georgina Gale, Sparky and the Wailer and The Voice finalist Eliza Gutteridge.

Various stalls will be open for food including the Stacker Grill and a Hog Roast alongside the Bar with last orders at 7.00pm.

Penrith Town Band on throughout the afternoon from 12.30pm

Georgina Gale: 1.15pm
Georgina is a singer songwriter from Ellonby and is an experienced performer who has recently begun recording in the past year locally in Penrith.  Her style is a mixture of acoustic, country, rock with a bit of pop!

Sparky and the Wailer: 4.15pm
Sparky and the Wailer
describe themselves as Cumbria’s answer to Tom Jones and Jools Holland covering mainly blues but they also include some popular covers and singalong songs too.

Eliza Gutteridge: 5.15pm Onwards
Eliza Gutteridge made it onto ‘Team Tom’ on the globally acclaimed The Voice in 2018 singing Wild Horses by Birdy and she went on to perform in the Knockouts, just missing out on a place in the semi finals.

Eliza hails from the Lake District and has performed many live gigs since her appearance on our TV’s back in 2018.
